My Uncle Gene was integral part of my childhood and very influential in my life with establishing music as a great past time.My Grandpa Tony Was a violinist in an orchestra. He also played Accordion in which became his main instrument.Grandpa Tony and Uncle Gene would jam guitar and accordion for hours at our family backyard parties. I started jamming with them at a very young age. As Grandpa Tony had so much of the Melody and Rhythm covered with the accordion, My Uncle Gene was very chordal also with this phenomena. I would mostly play single note lines and had to always figure out what key they were playing in. This really developed my improvisational skills. I was always just playing lead guitar.
